Twinkle Star International School offers a safe and healthy environment where children can develop intellectually, socially, physically and emotionally through a variety of fun-filled activities. These activities are designed to promote learning through interaction, doing so in a manner that is found to be most comfortable for the individual child. Our curriculum is based on programs developed in western countries, and English is used as the primary medium for instruction. We warmly welcome children of any nationality and provide a multicultural atmosphere where they can learn about different cultures in a pleasant social setting.
The school's "Actively Building Confidence" policy reflects our desire that the children are able to positively express themselves and become more confident as they grow. Our goals are as follows:
1. Identifying individual achievements, however small, to promote personal satisfaction for the student and build confidence within the class.
2. To provide an environment where the children can express their opinion and feelings, which will assist in developing their speech and expression skills.
3. To assist the children to enjoy and share their daily school life in comfortable and safe surroundings.
The most important thing for the children is to be able to recognize their achievements and joy of success with pleasure and confidence. This will promote English and other skills, while personalities are being developed.
We consider safety to be an important part of our school life. Staff are trained and certified by Pediatric Medic First Aid. All children are insured against accidents that occur within school hours on the school premises as well as outdoors. In the event of an accident the child will be taken to Nerima Sogo Hospital (5 minutes by car) and parents will be notified.

In the event of a natural disaster, parents will be contacted immediately and the children will be evacuated to Minamicho Elementary School (2 minutes walk from Nerima School) or Toyotamadaini Elementary school (1 minute walk from Sakuradai School).
